We adopted our beautiful daughter Olivia in Feb/07 at 11months old. She is the absolute pride and joy of our lives. We are thankful that God blessed us with miscarriages and fertility issues, or we wouldn't have the beautiful daughter that we can't imagine life without. Just look at her, she was meant to be.
Thanks for stopping by to share our life with us.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference
We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.”
We arrived back in cold Beijing last night at midnight. Olivia wasn't too impressed with her first taste of winter weather. Just look at the face on her when we bundled her up in the snow suit.
As you can see by the video, she's all good again this morning.

Love the facial expression!! She is darling, and congratulations! The flower market photo is priceless and the story was so great to read! I am so happy for you.
Hey Debbie, Guess you're happy to be back in Beijing. How's Kirk doing? Did he get to Guangzhou's electronics market? As for food, be sure to check out more of the North American restaurants near the hotel- you'll also have some great group meals this week during tour days. As for the snowsuit, she looks too cute with that grumpy face! Kimberly still hates it. Keep up the posts.
Debbie & Kirk, Olivia is just the cutest. The Calgary family can't wait to meet their new baby cousin. Even Noah said she is sssooooooo cute.I am leaving in an hour for my trip, but you can bet I'll be at your house on my way home on the 25th. You have a great blog going, just love checking daily. Love & Hugs..Auntie Betty
Both my girls hated snowsuits their first year home ... carseats, strollers and highchairs were not fun in the beginning either ... especially for Isabella. So many new and wonderful expreience awaiting sweet Olivia!! She is adorable!
Man she's verbal...she might just give her Mommy a run for her money! Poor Kirk! lol And she's standing?! I love it!! Your trip sure has flown by...not sure how you guys feel, but it seems like you just left. Can't wait to see/squeeze Miss O in person.
Olivia is so sweet and beautiful. She found herself a friend in the mirror that has the same interests are she does....smile... Debbie I am so glad your keeping up with your blog. I hit refresh a dozen times a day to see what New things Olivia has come up with. See you next week. Phyllis and Tony
Debbie & Kirt Congradulation, she sure is cute. I like the picture with the hockey jersey best, we have another leaf fan. I have been playing hockey all weekend, we are in the finals tomorrow. I'll score a goal for Oliva tomorrow.
I'll see you this summer. Joshua, your Newfie Buddy
