First Hospital Visit

Well we were hoping not to have to bring her to see a doctor until at least Canada but Olivia decided otherwise. There were a couple of the kids who were really sick so we all jumped in a cab with our tour guide Shirley and trucked it off to the hospital. Let me tell you that was an experience. There were thousands of people, crying babies sick children just all over the place. Somehow our wonderful guide got us all to the front of the line. We were in and out within an hour. Our poor little angel has a throat infenction and is now on two different types of Chinese Antibotics.

Here's some pics of the big first hospital trip including the "jailed in" taxi ride to get there!

We did not have to do the hospital thing with Kimberly but several in our group did so we know what you mean. Glad to hear Olivia is at least getting treatment- that'll keep her healthy for the remainder of the trip, especially the long flight home. When do you leave for Beijing.

Oh my- poor little thing- and poor Mom & Dad, too! I was a bit concerned when your blog wasn't updated that Olivia was sick. Ah, part of the joys of parenthood- hospital emergency rooms and long waits in the doctor's office...
Hope everyone is on the mend! Take care.

How scary! I remember when we were in China and all the babies had to go to the hospital for their medical check-up. I was sick so didn't go but my mom told me all about it! Hope Olivia gets well soon !

I'm so sorry Olivia isn't feeling well. Hopefully, the antibiotics will kick in and she'll feel better by the time you have to fly home.

I hope the medicine is kicking in and Olivia is feeling much better.

Hope she is better for the flight home. It's freezing here today. minus 28 with the windchill and colder where you live.

Oh my! I hope she is on the mend soon. That's just one more thing none of you need to worry about right now with all that's going on. Poor thing.
