White Swan, Shopping and other

Today we had a nice relaxing day. Olivia is having trouble getting on a sleep routine so we went for a walk around the area of the White Swan hoping to keep her up this afternoon. She's fell asleep about a half hour ago (7:00) so hopefully tonight is the night that she sleeps through.

We did lots of market shopping around the white swan for gotcha gifts and went inside to get a picture by the red couch. There are so many red couches so I wasn't sure which one it was. I got my pic taken with her at one of them so its all good.

We went through about 4 changes of clothes with her today because we forgot her bib. She will only take a bottle and the nipple has to be extremely large. All the other babies seem to be taking spoons but I'm not forcing that on her right now (she gets really upset when we try to spoon feed her)

Here's some pics from today and a pic of Darcy, Donna, Katie and Sarah.

Yes that is right Spoons that come near your face with different textured foods on them should not be permitted!!!! Emma is struggling with the same thing although we have managed to adjust to a normal sized nipple and regular formula as opposed to rice cereal mixed with formula. I hope Olivia starts eating better for you soon. I recommend the Bimo bottles from the dept store if having troubles ....Amy gr 241

She looks like quite the fashion diva! I'm sure you are having fun trying on all sorts of cute clothes. Can't wait to meet the sweetie in person!

PS. Our Sophie also wouldn't take to spoons so we didn't pressure her with it while in China. They are going through so many changes in such a short period of time. If she's taking her bottle with no trouble, I wouldn't worry about other foods just yet. You'll be amazed at how relaxed and adjusted she will get once you get her home. The same goes with sleeping straight through the night. It will come with time. Just continue cuddling and loving her like crazy!

Hi there.. Well great to see Olivia soo happy! Great pics!

Im not sure exactly how old Olivia is?? But I have an idea on how to maybe get her eat more solid foods.
My daughter was the same.. she just HATED being spoon fed and HATED baby food. SO around9-10 months we just started with alot of small finger foods.. Plus giving her the spoon herself and the bowl seemed to help.Sure it was messy, but it did the trick. anyways If you need more ideas email when you get time kerrylaser@yahoo.ca
I have some good websites too that might help. But its also completly normal for a baby to be on strictly formula for 1 whole year.. even more..
anyways.. shes such a cutie. glad your having so much fun with her!
ohhh and I know of some good books on sleeping if your interested!
Take care
