Guangdong Babies
Well here they are cute as cute can be! This is our gang of babies that we are all travelling together to get next Sunday (man that sounds good). I made a lanyard to wear with Olivia's picture for travelling and then I thought, hey I might as well make one for each of my posse!!!
Just look how lucky all of us mom's and dad's in waiting are going to be. We have 2 boys in our group of 11 which is quite unusual. We are all over the moon with excitement and counting the days til we get to our bundles of joy.
Check out the yellow dress on Samara and Olivia(click on picture to make larger) - do you think I have a chunkster on my hands????? She must be stealing food from all of her orphanage pals......

My friend, who returned from China in June, had a baby from Guangdong. They spent their whole time in China at the WS! Do you get to do this? I know that not everybidy whos babies are from Guangdong get to do this, as their babies are to far away from the hotel. But some do! I can't wait to read all about your trip!
oops...I said 'everybidy' instead of everybody...sigh, I really should proof-read my posts! : )
What a beautiful group of babies!!! Michelle
What a beautiful bunch!
What a great idea for the lanyards for everyone. I never realized that Olivia and Samara were wearing the same dress!!
Oh my. Words escape me. What loveliness....
These babies will have families very, very soon.

Hey those are some mighty cute babies - especially the little one in the yellow dress. :) You never know . . . Samara started out small but she may be kickin' Olivia's butt in the weight department by now. You just never know!! :)

P.S. WS = White Swan
I want to do tags like that for when we go back. How/where did you do them/get them done?? How thoughtful to do them for your whole group too!! I always knew you were a sweetie.
jamesons - in order to spend your whole time in china at the swan you'd have to be American - Canadians have to go to Beijing to finalize their adoption. I don't know why there isn't an "adoption" hotel in Beijing. Surely enough countries (including Canada) go there!!
Penny - I bought the tags and lanyards both at Staples.
I remember when you first posted Olivia's picture. She is just so cute. I love the chunksters!
Your day is coming!
What a great idea to make lanyards for your whole group -you're so thoughtful!
Can't wait to follow your journey to get your Olivia!
What a great idea and those babies are all sooooo cute!! OMG - how many sleeps left? 10 or 9??
Debbie~ Don't worry about it! I am not even a mommy yet, but I still suffer from this "disorder!" : ) WS stands for the White Swan, a big hotel that most people stay in when they go to the Guangdong province. But, the reason people go there (if there babies aren't in that province) is to go to the American Consulate...you wouldn't go there, so I don't know if you would stay at the WS or not...
Oh my god ... they are just gorgeous! Once again, I need a tissue (not to mention I am multi tasking ... watching the Oprah about the missing M boys who were found!). Anyway, back to you (or me), it seems the closer we get, the more emotional and high strung I get. Leaving one week from Sunday? .... ahhhh! All of a sudden, your journey seems so fast .......... does it feel that way to you?
Can't wait for the gotcha day photos ... tissues are standing by!
Jamesons: I'd love to see your blog but it says by invite only!
Deb
